did you paint your intercooler? i was thinking of painting mine flat black to attract less attention

no the intercooler comes black...but if ur gonna paint it you have to use a paint that is gonna breathe good

Mounted and installed my FMIC:

Started Mocking up my intercooler pipping, the hot pipe is all mocked up ( i have to go back and cut some angles so the hot pipe sits better) but i cant do the charge pipe until my charge pipe comes back from gettin tig welded:

How hard was it.?

ok so today i finally got more pipping and started to mock up my charge pipe..i didnt want to to run a 90 degree coupler like most people are so i figured out what angle i needed to cut and made the angle....came out awesome....i will be finishing it up tomorrow when i get more couplers:

any paint will "breath well" if you want to call it that. it's not the paint but the thickness of it on the fins that matters. there is what is called radiator paint that is supposedly specially deigned to be used on radiators. but any paint will work as long as there aren't any globs of paint on the fins restricting air flow and allowing it to "breath" or ventilate which is a more appropriate word.

p.s......that IC piping is really close to the rad...you gonna move it a little or put something inbetween it??
