I was wondering if it would be posibble to make the type x signal lights work as DRLs or even fogs on a 91+ S13 bumper? It would have to go under the regular blinkers. I was thinking that you could have both the light aspec and also the vented grill functioning in case you need some air flow in there. I'm pretty sure the regular grill part of the kouki signals would have to be cut a bit to fit in the spot, but does it seem reasonable or is it just a crazy idea.

Looks like there will have to be a little cutting to the front bumper.

 

Can't you cut the grill part instead to form to the shape of the chuki vent? i'd like to sport these around instead of the canadian DRLs in order to keep that airflow just in case and stuff.

 

That looks pretty hard to do, but possible. Don't know if the mounts would be in the way.
