i know a girl that got her 2001 suv repainted there and it looks flawless. its all in the prep work imo

Okay I am experience with "chain" paint shops. First sand all the rattle can primer off, then circle the dings and dents with a crayon, then most important-mask all you weather stripping your self and remove lights and badges. Maaco will fix all the dents that you circle and if you remove your primer, they will use there own primer and they will guarentee to repaint any chips it may cause.

Maaco doesnt spend a lot of time with prep work, but if you put a couple of weekends into sanding it and making sure its smooth and then taking it to maaco to spray, results will be a whole lot better, minus all their oversprayage.
