my car but need more parts...
Ok here we go... the rims were originally white. depending on the rims some might need deep sanding... mine were painted so easy I just used those wire sand or something just to get the clear coat off so the paint will stick. Then clean all the rims recommend take the tire off for more professional look. If you want to paint the rims with tire on make sure use a tape and wrap it around the lip so the paint won't get on the lip but don't over do it or your going to miss and not paint the lip at all. When I painted my rims I painted both outside and inside wheelwell and I did 3 layers of paint and 3 layers of clear coat for better look... and for those who want to make polish lip just sand the lip off and it will shine... or you can polish your whole rim... I can take a pic of my friends rims which is a honda HX rims gunmetal w/ polish lip... I used about 5 can of paint and 4 clear coat. Each were about $4, still depends on where you get them... Ask me if you need help... Thanks guys for the bumps make me feel good...
