If your going to get a cf hood, OEM would be the way to go.

And why is that?

Dont tell you are saying just b.c is your own personal taste,to get the OEM and not the aftermarket style ?

I just think it looks the best. Some NFSU cf hoods can end up looking pretty silly on any car.

Well, yeah, but when people put hoods that look like they should only belong on a funny car on a Civic it's silly.

well i still think the Predator style hood from AeroGear would be cool...good looking and vented, but they don't make that so i have just decided to go with the CarbonFiber OEM hood which would look great with the drifter bodykit, i don't want alot of vents, and bulges, and other ricer ****...too much...i want to get a funcutional hood, but i don't want it to be tacky...so i'll just go with the clean looking OEM!

last night upon driving around the mean streets of the Lou (that louisville for all you non gangstas) anyways i came upon a black s13 with a red neon plate frame that like pulsated with the music...and then if that wasnt enough he had red neons under the car that did the same thing...with some big nasty chrome MR7 knock offs. I guess he saw my N/A s14 and figured he would want some....he reved a whole bunch and i saw his free hang'n N1 muffler flop around a bit...well anyways he gets on it..i of course drive normal and while in 4th (normal driving) i pull away and laugh. Upon the next stop light i roll my window down and he tells me some bs about his fuel having a hole in it (WTF?) and i proceed to tell him he is a discrace to the nissan family and should be put in jail for wrecking a s13 that bad....so my advice to you mr hood seeker.....dont be that guy.

um...thanks...i guess!? i am unfortunately an ex-honda driver. i've done the whole lower your car and no lowered struts for the bumpy *** rides that makes you look like a retard bouncing down the road, the neon lights...the white decals, steelies, glass pack, and F.Y.I. i bought a Nissan because i've grown out of that whole ricer thing...no neons, no steelies...i'm going to go with the drift kit, the kouki spoiler, nice wheels, SR20DET swap, walbro fuel pump, with a greddy downpipe, i mean if since i have a real tuner car, i'm going to put the best parts on it possible, i'm not going to buy half-assed parts...i want to go HKS everything, but you can't have everything! I'm a "NISMO"(Nissan Motorsports) guy now, not a "HOMO"(Honda Motorsports)!!!

ok you think youve grown out of the honda thing? you want to buy a cheap grade "predator" hood and a "drifter" shatty body kit but you want to go high quality parts only hks and nismo isnt that contradictary? not meaning to flame just want you to realize how it came out what you were saying. "drifter" body kit is not high quality like hks so dont compare

As posted in my last reply...I'm not going with the Predator hood, but with a VIS OEM hood! And the drifter kit, i know it isn't the best quality, but everything else looks like paste and popcicle sticks, i like the front of the drift kit and the demon side skirts but and the stock fronts on the 91-94 are good looking, but right now i have the ugly looking 90's front and it looks like i crapped all over it, but thats what i think!

Just look around, read, and find out all that you can. Make sure you want what you want and what you want now isn't what you will not want a month later.

fyi the sight for aerogear is www.aerogear.net and if you were to call em all you gotta do is give them a good idea that will sell and they can try to make a one off for you... if you call talk to pat or percie (if either are still there) tell em the white boy from final phaze sent ya and they should be able to hook you up... btw the owners name is sandy and he is as cool as any... just tell em ur idea and they will let you know if it can be done...
you have seen the carbon fiber integra hoods from them with no washer squirters??? my old integra was the first one they made... my idea...
