Coilovers are actually pretty quick and easy to change...assuming you don't have rusted nuts and bolts. PB Blaster is your friend in such circumstances!!! The rears might pose a problem, but you should be able to knock out the fronts without assistance. Ask a neighbor, friend, or a relative to give you a hand while you complete the rears.

TIP: One thing I learned on my 350Z was, if the nut or bolt is a 6 point, use a 6 point socket or wrench as the 12 point will have the tendency to round out the nut or bolt.

good to know. thanks for the info. my brother is pretty much useless as far as help is concerned with the car. i tried to do the front the day i had them but ran into the problem where the coilover bracket was lower than the spindle in the front. i couldnt get anyone to step on the spindle or control arm or tie rod so as to lower it so i could put the two huge bolts through the coilover and spindle. its cool tho, ill put them on this weekend...im off.

coilovers are on the car. fairly easy install. still needs some adjustment tho. the rear is sittting lower than the front and i think i need to raise the front of the car because its clunkiing a bit only in the front. im thinking that i may have the coil perch too low so there is not enough preload on the spring. i will post pictures asap. my old lady has my camera currently. lol.

also, the rear has more camber than the front...what is a camber kit? and i need to replace the bearing in the rear. which bearings or hub do i want to replace it with if i have factory 5 lug...so many kits for 4lug to 5lug conversion. idk if thats what i need to get tho. im also not trying to spend 300 bones from nissan for a hub/bearing. it is growling way more due to the coilovers being on there
