hey guys i just bought a 89 coupe and the roof is oxidized pretty bad. is there anything that i can do that does not include repainting the car.

ive heard of something like a clear layer that i can put on but i dont know what its called or were i can find it. any help will be appretiated

 

try some scratch remover. there is a generic brand in a small yellow bottle called "scratch out" iirc at wal mart for around $3. it works wonders if you have an electric buffer

if you ever need to repaint something and have it look really glossy scratch out is awesome

 

can i find this at any autoparts store or something similar?
