I just got the nrg quick release v2.5 and Circuit sports short hub like 3 hours ago. This is the end result.





I'm pretty sure if I get into an accident without a helmet on I wont have a face any more. And if I do have a helmet on..... I'll at the very least need a new one. I'm comfortable with the seating position but the quick release coupled with the extremely low off set of the wheel make it pretty close to me. But it's still comfortable and I'll still be in optimal control so I'm not too worried about it.

Yeah of course Jared. I want to paint the roof too though, it's pretty faded and rough.

About the wheel setup being really close. The seat isnt bolted down yet (wasnt bolted down when i got it). And I usually adjust my seat for my legs according to the clutch pedal (my left knee pops when I fully extend it to press down the clutch so I set my seat so I dont have to fully extend my leg to depress the clutch), since the car doesnt have a clutch yet the seating position isnt final. I could also adjust the back since I usually tend to have my back semi reclined as I drive instead of straight up. Alot more will go into this so I'm not counting it out just yet.

Oh man! I just passed this huge f'ing test I've been studying for pretty much ever since I started training. For like the past year I've been worried about studying and working my *** off stressing out over it. And now........... I finally passed that ish.

Now I'll have all the time in the world to work on the car (well from 5-7 and saturdays and sundays). Good things will come from this.

NOTE: 5 lug is the last thing I'm worried about right now lol. Ballin 17 or 18 inch wheels are useless with 120hp and 140 ft/lbs going to them.

EDIT again: I sat in the car again today with the wheel on and adjusted the seat a bit more. It's not bad at all actually, I really kind of like it. You should be controlling the wheel more with your biceps than your forearms any way. If you drive with your arms almost fully extended... your doing it wrong.
