I went parklng lot snow drifting for about 1 hour last night... we have not got hit hard yet... got about 10 inches so far.

 

haha, there was only like 1" of snow on my car. It wasnt that bad.

small update. have everything layed out to the length its gonna be. I am now shortening the wires to the desired length.

 

F*ck all that snow lol today I was walking around in short sleves haha

 

With this mess now gone...



I am left with this. All I have left to wire in is my wideband. Which I have left wires by the ECU plug to connect it to.

 

EMS installed. Map uploaded. Car is running and sensors seem to be working correctly.

Car is not idling right though. seems like the timing is off. I think I have to sync the CAS somehow. I am taking a hot chocolate break real quick. Its damn cold outside right now and thats where the magic is happening.





PS ignore the random sensor wiring hanging down. I rewired my MAF seperate with a spare harness I had laying around. I thought that maybe the wiring was the issue. I was wrong though. I hooked up the MAF wiring that I had in the main harness before I installed the EMS

 

Conclusion is..............

 

that sucks, but i did get a chuckle out of it. good luck w/ur ecu

 

its for the best. now I have a fully tunable computer. makes life easier. now I just gotta buy a mini computer that I can keep in the glove box for on the fly tuning.

hmm.... car overheated today and is now blowing blue smoke. FML

I dunno. she isnt blowing blue smoke anymore. Gotta check compression tomorrow. she still feels strong as hell but I think she is burning coolant now.
