What aftermarket hoods are available for an 89?

You could always jack some scoops from a junkyard and graft them onto your stock hood.

Any bodyshop should be able to bang that out.

I still say get a Wurz hood. I know those prices are overly high, but that was the only place I saw with them and I was just giving an example. You could try to get another shop to import them for you for a lot less I bet. BTW if you care Wurz makes a fiber glass hood for $362 that weighs 19 lbs. The prices from there site for a plain weave cf hood is $561 and for the twill weave $642. So......

yeah stanbo, my friend grafted a hood scoop onto his hood himself and it looks almost perfect. the only thing is i want weight reduction too.
