Built Vs Stroked ???

I got a sr20det,i have been debating on fully building my motor with stock parts,or a BC stroker kit i want to know anyone out there that has delt with both these case.I would like to know what differences in horse power & torque and if its worth the money.Anybody out there with some info let me know.
Also i would be interested in knowing some info on the transmision, like how much power its been known to hold and diferrent options for a upgrade.

whats the purpose for this car..... Dyno queen??

may i ask what you need this power for.... to be honest you can make decent power with the 2.o displacement forged

im sorry bro i just cant assist with pointless mods.. but tell us what this car will be used for and we will try to assist you

^ +1. You dont really have to stroke/bore it out bigger. You'll get more torque and what not. But the stock displacement is capable of 500+. You can just get new forged pistons, maybe rods( I personally dont know ) and I'd cyro treat your crank and make sure its balanced. And i also want to know what it'll be for.

ok well im not doubting u cant beat one, im just suprised uve done all that work to your car and ur asking this question

but yea fully building your motor with stock parts isnt the same thing as being fully built..thats gona do you no good on safely pushing 500+ hp

on the other hand stroking an sr is generally a waste of money bc you can get almost the same result with just being fully built

hence fully building your motor with aftermarket parts is the right decision, uprgraded pistons, rods, cams, springs, retainers, balancing, ect ect ect..i think u get the point..also machine work is key to a proper motor so dont cheap out on a machinist to get everything done right

stroked is built, just with more displacement...

so it depends on how much u want to spend really
