can i just take the piping that goes from the EGR to the downpipe off?

its hitting my steering shaft...

if so what do i use to block it off?

 

if you take that off. you may as well remove the egr from the intake manifold...

and when you do that.. you will have to either weld the hole shut and or buy this block off plate from ebay for about 10 bucks..

of you can just remove the tube and plug the small hole on the EGR

 

what happens when yu dont plug it up?
