running very rich and cant rev
ok well i have a sr20det and i cant rev past 4k.. if i hold pedal down it does to 4k and basicly stops and drops to about 3k and pops.. and its dumping alot of fuel.. im thinking it the maf. i have the Z maf on it and dont know how to check it to see if thats my problem.. it does this with the maf plugged or unplugged.

i have an afc and 550 injectors and a blitz ecu.. car ran fine.. it was parked for about 10 months and the afc was pulled. with afc out it did this so i installed one and still doin it..
i want to go retune it since the afc is all zeroed out but its kinda hard to drive this damn thing..
this is my first 240 sr20det. i just need someone to point me to the right direction to trouble shoot it.. this car did drive and run perfect. it sat for about ten months and now it runs rich as hell even with afc turnin everything down and fpr set at 20 psi.... im thinking its the maf but cant find out how to check it.

ok motor has less than 1k on it with wiesco pistons. gt2871t turbo, 550 injectors, blitz ecu that is tuned. z32 maf, 3in full exhaust, huge fmic, and areomotive fpr.. car ran perfect last summer, car sat ever since last summer. i got the car off some kid b/c body was dented all over and trans was broke. i fixe everything and now it wont rev out. im thinking since it ran good before and crap and it does seem like a maf problem im guessing thats what it is. i just cant find a link to show me how to test the maf. im sure i can test it with a meter but dont know what pins to connect to.

If the gas was that old, it wouldn't even start. Is 110 what you were using when the car was running?
To check the MAF, get the engine warm. Then you check voltage from the signal out to the ground. It should be about .6v at idle (about 1v at 1500rpm), if not, it's bad. Thats the only way I know how to test it. The Ground wire should be "C" on the MAF. which is the black wire, or should be.
