Artic and Landho,

even if I have a 5x114.13 set-up, I still wouldnt go beyond 8.0

Having said that, maybe I should stick with 4x114.3, no? I think its not cost effective to spend extra $500 just to have a 5-lug where it would have the same benefits as my 4-lug or not taking full advantage of the 5-lug.

Im not going to participate in any drift nor even try it. I'll leave it to you guys. Heck, I havent even seen any drift video.

17x8 all around with TEIN FLEX, 2" lowered, what do you think Landho?

Im running 225/45/17 in front and 255/45/17 rear.
But i am changing to 215/45/17 front and 225/40/17 rear.

Yes cheaper tires and i can reduce the camber in the rear. I have to much.
I now have an idea on the tire size, thanks Landho.

Why do you wanna buy flex if your not going to use them to there full advantage.

I would reccomend that you get springs and shock combo and save some cash to make your car more comfortable.

17x8 if good make sure you dont get any offset higher that 30.

Shocks/Springs?

edit:
After thinking it over and over again, thats not a bad choice for a basic n00b like me.

I wonder which spring will give me the 2" drop, I'd probably use AGX.

Noted, thanks!

edit#2

With your recommended tire size of 215/45/17 front and 225/40/17 rear, will I have a problem with 17x8 (less than 30 offset) and an Eibach Sportlines 2.2" front and 2.1" rear drop?

Thanks again.

I am set on rims I won't disclose the kind because it is a ways off but they will be 5x114.3 17x9 +12 f&r with coil-overs. Is that good for rear offset or does it need to be bigger?

Seems good enough for me. Wait for the flush perfectionists to ring in.

Great size good offset.
This is the stuff i am talking about all you ladies.

What coilovers?
What tire size?

What do you mean by bigger offset?? Higher, Lower???

Or do you mean width.

This size on and S13 running streched tire and 1.5 degress camber rear, will be flush with the fenders.

The coil overs are the ones in my sig, the Kei Office GU I received the coil-overs but the front to where dmg in shipping so news ones where sent out. I was only asking if the rear offset of +12 would fit with out interfering with the coil-overs.

Tires will most likely be 225 or 235/45 F&r (same size)

So for the rear I can just get the Z32 rear 5 lug hubs right or do I still need the s13 bearing?

The S14 front spindle uses a 32mm nut.

While the S13 front spindle uses a 30mm nut.

Even though the S14 HUB can slide on S13 spindle its not safe.

Use S13 bearing.

More info

For S13 Rear conversion use:

S14 SE or Z32 N/A Hubs

S14 and S13 rear rotors are the same size, except one is 4 lug while the other is 5 lug.

For S13 Front conversion use:

S14 SE Hubs, must be used the S14 SE Spindles and S14 Ball Joint in the control arm. (must be pressed in)

As well as Attain hubs, same with GTO hubs fit S13.

As far as suspension goes.

Front suspension total length is longer on S14 by about 1/2 - 1" the bolts are larger as well.

Control arm ball joints different

Lower control arm different length by about 1/2"

Tension rod different length(stock)

Tie rod/tie rod ends different (stock)

Rear suspension much longer on s14(stock)

Alex thanks for learning me.
Ok, it was late night at when I posted before but heres some info I got from an article:

--We start off by unbolting the rear S13 uprights from the suspension arms and the lower control arm ball joint. Reinstalling the Z32 upright is pretty straightforward; however there is one part that is needed in order to complete the install. The Z32 lower control arm is identical to the S13 lower control arm except for the addition of a conical ball joint seat (part # 40173-33P00, about $10 at your local Nissan dealer), and this part is required to properly mount the upright onto the lower control arm.

The only other modification needed to mount up the Z32 upright is modifying the rear suspension. The 300ZX uses a fork-type rear shock, while the 240SX uses a bolt-type rear shock mount. Since we had our Zeal suspension, we contacted Endless USA and they graciously provided us with the Z32 lower shell casing from their Zeal suspension for this project. For those of you that are not going with a coilover setup, it is possible to buy Z32 rear shocks and modify them to fit the S13. Here are pictures of the different rear lower shell casings.---

It talks about modifing the coil-over because the 300zx uses a fork type rear shock? My question is what do I really need to install this right? Do I need the conical ball joint seat they talk about and will I have to end up modifing my coil-overs?

You dont need the upright to do the swap only, of you want to use the Z e-brake.

Ok, so front goes like this:
Attain/GTO 5 lug hub with bearing
5 lug rotor
and the rear is
300zx 5 lug hub
s13 bearing
5 lug rotor

and thats it?
