brake pads, lines, bled

i replaced my brake pads with hawk pads bought from tirerack.com. and my brake lines with steel braided lines bought also from tirerack. then i bled the calipers. i haven't done this before so it took like 5 hours. i started with the right back brake. i couldn't make the piston go inside. went out and bought a clamp, still couldn't make it go in. called someone and he told me to turn the piston clockwise and use the clamp at the same time. this was a pain in the ***. on the second brake i tried just turning the piston and it worked. i didn't have to use the clamp. on the front i had to use the clamp. the front was easy. i had someone help me bleed the brakes. over all it was an easy upgrade. i still haven't had a chance to ride my car so i can't tell u the difference yet. i'll write later how my car performs. later

Let us know your take on the Hawk pads, and what brand steel brake lines are they?
