Braking problems

well i installed a sr in my 98.
s13 sr20det in a 98 240sx and now my brakes dont work. i know for sure that the brake booster is hooked up, but im not sure if its hooked up correctly.
what happends: well i hit the brakes after going about 15 mph and it takes forever to stop, the pedal is really stiff and im pushing on it like crazy. i had my mechanic try it to, and hes getting the same results. we checked to make sure nothing is behind the pedal assembly that would be preventing the pedal from going down and there isnt anything in the way.
does anyone have the correct way to hook up the brake booster with an sr motor?

please help me, i need brakes to stop!

Jay

Is it one steady push or pumping?

You may just have to bleed or have tweaked the line a bit.
