Hmm....I brought this subject up to my autotech techer and he said that the machine at our school can turn all rotors. That it just has to be done very carefully and to a thin extreme ?!

Meh. Maybe He's wrong.

Question re: Rotors

I got a 95 240sx se and i want to replace the stock rotors. I was looking to get some regular brembo rotors. Does anyone know how to order from them, do i call them direct or does anyone know a site that sells them? Also what other company have good rotors for the 240sx? I'm getting new stock calipers with ss lines and performance pads.

Thanks
JZ

You can try JDMSoarer. I've seen him a lot on the forums. Or I just got mine off ebay and nopi.com

why would you want to replace your stock calipers with more stock calipers unless they are failing? www.tirerack.com has all that you've mentioned.

brembo plain rotors: $50 each
SS lines: front/rear kit : $127
pads....etc.

i think the rotors are a decent deal, but i'm not sure about the lines.....try searching.

I have been running Bremo pads (reg ) and Hawk HPS pads for about 6 months now and they are still doing good they were a little noisey to start with but they are fine now

they do get a little soft after hard running but the inital bit is still there

did a hard mountain run
went up and then down and when the brakes started to get hot I did a complet stop and it took longer then i would have like to slow down to a full stop but even on the down hill the inial bite still made be feel confident going into the courners

I would say good combo for around town and weekend fun
