complete suspension replacement

I'm getting closer to my engine swap, should be about a month, month and a half, if im lucky.

But after I swap the engine, I want to replace the complete suspension setup.

I searched and found a good list of suspension parts, but not absuletly positive about the peices.

I need to know what the front peices are named, as well as the rear peices.

I have so far

coilover system kit

tension control rods
anti sway bars
bushings
camber kit
control arms
strut tower bars
tie rod ends
inner tie rods
outter tie rods
lower arm ball joints

I know that I'm missing somethings, what are they? and for the list above please tell me if they have a inner/outter or a upper/bottom part.

After the suspension setup is finished, I'm going to be doing a brake system job!

rear upper control arm (ruca), nismo power brace, tunnel brace, fender brace (more chassis than suspension but adds a good deal of rigidity for the corners) and might as well get some new wheel bearings.

^everything he said as well... splparts.com has everything you need. When i get the money, im buying most of my suspension parts from them. tie rods (inner and outter), rucas, kts coilovers etc

fender braces arent really neccesary... people do have them, but you arent goin to gain anywhere near as much stiffness. coils, swaybars, bushings, tc rods, strut tower bars are all great for stiffenign up

dont overlook the brakes too. with increased speed on the straight and corners youll need extra stopping power

yeah i know, working on that also.

I'm thinking of the StopTech or Brembo, but can't decide on which one, I have a set of 17" Enkie Rims, so I'm thinking about like a 13" big brake system.

Anyone know what they are called? I have them setting in my shop, but have curb rash like crazy, I bought them for $500. with tires, Yokohama Parada Spec 2

rims wont work for two reasons. 1) like someone said before they will not clear the calipers. 2) i highly doubt the offset is correct for clearance of coilovers. once you get coilovers you need at least a +20 or lower offset depending on brand of coilover and year of your car.

also skip the sway bars. i have sways on my car and ever since i put the coilovers on i can't notice them. many other guys in Az dont run them anymore either.

i do recommend the fender brace. also get rear sub frame spacers...that will be a great upgrade...

Thanks, but I didn't ask if they would or would not work, I asked for them name of the rims.

If they work, thats good, if they don't, oh well I'll buy new ones.

---------------

now back to the suspension question, this is what I have wrote down getting prices.

Front and Rear Stabilizer Bars

Front Stabilizer Endlinks

Front Stablilzer Links

Rear Stabilizer Endlinks

Rear Stabilizer Links arent end links the same as links???

Tension Rods

Front Lower Arms Unless you know how to use them they are useless.

Front Tie Rod Ends

Front Tie Rods

Rear Upper Arms You mean RUCA right?

Rear Traction Rods

Rear Toe Arms

Rear Lower Toe Arms How many toe arms are in the rear? I thought there was only one.

Nismo Power Brace (replaces front Tension Rod Brackets)No ****.

HKS Kansai Front Transmission Tunnel Brace Not needed.

Do-Luck Steel Rear Cross Bar (not nessary, but I may get it) So you just in to bragging. Not needed something but getting it anyways.

Do-Luck Steel Rear Ladder Bar Not needed.

Front Fender Brace Totally not needed.

SubFrame Brace metal bushings yes brace no.

6 or 8 point Roll Cage (not nessary, but I may get it) Again doing it to brag. Apparently a cage doesnt stiffen a car enough? SO you NEED all the other unecessary parts.

Energy Suspension Bushing Kit If your replacing all the arms with metal ball joints, why do you still need to replace the rubber?? Not necessary.

Tein Super Drift Coilovers Those are good.

EDFC Controller weak saucem get out of your damn car and change the settings.

I will be using Rotora Big Brake Kit. Rotora is not the best.

I think I'm still missing something though. Ya alittle common sense, half the **** you have on here is not necessary.

Don't skip out on sway (stabilizer bars) Despite what people think your coilovers are not going to effect or stop the body roll your car will have with out them. Yes some drag racers take the rears off for little better squat, Some autocross take the front off to increase over steer but other than that regular driving with be all whacked.
