E-brake light always on.

E-brake light always on.
it started doing it a few weeks ago and now its starting to bug.
the dash light for the e-brake is ALWAYS ON!
does anybody know where the sensor or switch is for that damn light is? so i can turn the F@#*in thing off?
lol anybody ever have this happen before?
i tried a search but didnt know what to look for.

Other than that, there's a small switch under the center console that activates the daash light. You might want to start there.

Here's a real easy fix, grab yourself a phillips screw driver, a scissor and a roll of black electrical tape, unscrew the plastic cover, cut yourself a piece of electrical tape, and apply it to where the light goes on. Hows that for a fix?

Um, how is your brake fluid? I don't know if this applies to S13's, or Nissan's but in my dad's car the "brake" light would go on for 2 reasons: 1) he put the E-brake on; 2) There's something wrong with the brakes, like fluid being low.

i'll go check that in a min. ::scratches head:: brakes have felt a lil funny on occassion thought maybe it was just air in the system

and sure enough i hate you lol i have a leak right at the master cylinder some where there and im low on fluid! and its all your fault some how! lol
