ebay coilovers?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-...item33697d1ffa

i know what you get is what you pay for and all but, i dont have 1k to throw down on coilovers right now and the suspension on my 240 is ****ed.

before i go and throw away 500 bucks, id like to get an opinion about these, keep in mind that these would be standby coilovers untill i can afford something better. little to no drifting will be done on these if purchashed.

also i found some used JIC coilovers for sale for $600
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/S13-J...Q5fAccessories

the guy said "No problems with ride, I don't know the spring rate but it's fairly stiff and not bouncy. No leaking oil seen on shafts. They have wear and peeling paint but as far as used JDM coilovers go they are pretty good condition and do not appear blown."

would this be something to consider? ive heard buying used coilovers isnt a good idea and ive heard some bad things about JIC.

well ebay is not a brand just a store front. contact the owner and get some info on them.. such as exact spring rates or model number if they are busted.. save your cash and browse the forums in search of a car being parted out.

In my career I have owned 4 sets of coil overs. the first 3 pair being used.. I vowed never to buy used again as they all blew out over time. However to get in the game bro spend what you can and get active.

I have JIC FLT A1's they are not bad at all. thing is you cant rebuild them anymore. People buy bs parts and then talk bad about them.. Just do what you can..
