how do you correct rear toe?
i know the toe is adjusted by the stock lower arm on the rear. But how do alignment shops actually adjust it?
On the chilton, it mentions a bolt you turn on the chassis side of the arm (opposite of the knuckle or wheel side) which faces the front of the car. But i was wondering how exactly do you go about doing it? Do you just turn? HOw many revolutions per degree?
I'm reading up on DIY's camber and toe measure so i'm attempting to do this myself but really no clue on how to adjust rear toe on the stock arm.
Thanks in advanced.
BTW, I know getting an adjustable toe arm would help, but i dont have one and that's that. d=)

Spinning the accentric bolt allows for minimal toe adjustments. There only so much it will give.
You just turn it accordingly to the measurements.
Since its some what of an egg shape, if the alignment part faces the wheel you have toe out and vice versa.
Just play around with it until you got it.

I know the egg shape washer you're referring to... so my question is.. it's not full revolutions? It's anywhere from quarter turns to half turns right?
That's my only real question i guess.

If your car is lowered then you're leaving out an important detail in your question... and Chilton books are never as good as FSM's. The FSM shows the bolt, the markings, and exactly how much change in angle per mark.
