Angry installing stock front struts?

i'm having trouble installing the stock struts back into the vehicle.

we've used a spring compressor to shorten it but the trouble is taking out the compresser when installing the two bolts that hold the strut...

is there another way of installing the stock struts?

btw its stock struts with stock springs.

you should be able to put together the shock/springs as one... and then you just put them back under there... you should explain it again.

thanks for the reply.
oh ok, let me rephrase myself.

i am taking out my coilovers and putting back my stock struts on my car. i have not taken apart the stock struts so the shock/spring is still together but my problem lies with connecting it to the rotor.

the stock shocks are really long because the spring isn't compressed. and when we tried the spring compresser to shorten it our prolems is taking out the spring compressor while the shock is under the fender.

i dunno if im missing something or if there was a easier way of putting stock shocks back.. its so much easier putting on coilovers or shocks with lowering springs

I don't understand... umm it should all go together before you even try to put it back under the car... you should be able to compress the spring, put on the top plate, bolt down the top nut, and remove the compressor... then it all goes in as one piece... the spring compressor shouldn't even have to get close to the car.

go here, it's pretty much the same thing.

maybe you're doing one corner up at a time (i.e. floor jack speshal) and your sway is pushing the raised arm higher, making it look like it's way off.

use some muscle, you can align the fronts so easy.
