Megan does not resell to Apexi, they both simply buy from the same manufacturing center...

And who is your buddy over at Megan? I am great friends with the owner, so I'm curious to hear your connection over there with the inside info....

If they buy from the same manufacturer, then technically they are the same.. unless MR or Apexi does some modification to theirs. Interesting topic indeed. I wish i had this thread before i bought some 1300 flex's. hmm.. maybe not d=D

I'm actually might change my mind on the flex. I'm considering buying a set of MR coilovers because it seems to be the best bang for the buck

they are NOT the same.

just cause you read it on the internet, it is NOT gospel.

megans are not exv's
exv's are not megans
stop trying to sell megans by comparing it to apexis.

they are NOT identical, apexi's have their own specific valving rates done by apex's R&D team, and this is according to APEX'I themselves, not some guy on the internet.

yes they look the same blah blah blah but you don't get the serviceability and reputation provided by Apex'i USA.

if your megans blow, don't go looking to megan to try and revalve it or warranty it. that card that comes in the box doesn't do anything.

its personal preference, this is an endless argument. don't like it don't buy it, don't knock it. i will now step down from my soapbox.

Do you think Apexi is gonna admit they buy from the same place? heck no....

And in terms of customer service, Megan racing does have several replacement shocks, springs, etc in stock...

Even if they dont, they will open up a brand new box and pull a coilover out to ship it to the customer.

How do I know they will do this? They just did it for a customer of mine from ********.com

Companies are out there to make a profit. When Apexi, HKS, or Greddy puts their name on the same part they can make an extra 20-50% just because of their sticker....
