Watch your tongue. Tein is good. What makes SPL different from all the other randoms brands that pop up? Peak is a great company people should buy them more.

Thats why I said IMO, Levi. I've had SPL for some time now and no problems, quality is good, price is good, and customer service is awesome. Several people I know locally, including myself, have had Tein parts and they just didn't hold up as well as other parts. I am not trying to come off as an SPL fanboy, I am speaking from personal experience from myself and several others.

I'm not going to lie, the SPL parts do look a lot more heavy duty than the Teins. Mine are holding up well though, I haven't had a problem yet.

Okay, okay. Just because its made in taiwan does not mean its bad. Over half of what you buy is taiwan made. QC plays a huge part.

KTS, Stance, megan, yashio factory, and even some hks, and other coilovers or parts of coilovers are manufactured in the filipines.

oh no!

wait...who gives a ****, as long as its not made in like vietnam, and as long as it works great, whats the big deal?

the moral of this thread is: to not judge parts by their country of origin, but rather the company who sells them. lets avoid megan stuff like aids.

Alright so the NEW Morale of this thread is:
A) purchase parts parts that are high quality.
B) purchase parts from companies that have good RD & QC.
C) purchase parts from companies that have a good reputation/service.
D) Stay away from companies that dont meet the above credentials.

That sould cover it. But by all means, to each is own.
Just no megan suspension pieces. Megan Coilovers may be an exception. Depending how they are used
