Your shocks might be blown.

When is the pop happening?

During or after the bump?

sounds like a weak

Sounds like a weak spring that cant take the weight and the impact of bumps.. u can get spacers if you want to prolong changing it... suspension can be costly

umm

there kinda like door checks that make the spring more stiff. yet there's a chance they can pop out when ur ssprings already worn out, they can make your springs last alot longer and ur struts take less abuse, the suspension becomes less smooth..

They sell them at places like strauss and pep boys
they look like blocks with the top n bottom groved out to fit in the springs..

same prob

When I had my maxima i bought 2 brand new springs from nissan and 2 new struts put it all in and one side was perfect and one side banged on hard bumps... It's all about how well the actual one you have in your car is built.

You may check your bushings in the rear. Mine ar worn and I hear a similar sound when going over speed bumps. But if that is the case you should also hear it when you pump the brake or the throtle.
