i just recently bought a set of brand new megan racing coilovers from a member of the boards, and today i was puting them on and i noticed somethign weird. i was puting one of the rears on and the bottom part where it attatches to the spindle was loose and able to be unscrewed by hand. im a little woried now because there is a sticker on there that says "do not open gasses under pressure" or something like that.

what i need to know is - by removing/having that lower section lose does it release the gas charge, or do they make it so you can adjust it for height?

 

the megans are height adjustable, put up a pic so we can be sure it's the heingt adjustment that's moving.
