Shocks

If you have upgraded your shocks, or even replaced your shocks for new OEM ones, what kind do you have and how much did you pay?

- started with KYB GR-2's (came with the car): not bad, close to stock feeling

- went to Tein HE's: stiff as hell, worked like magic in the mountains but other than that, I hated them every second I had to drive on daily roads. The valving on the HE shocks are not streetable, no matter what others say.

- went to Koni Yellows, felt stiffer than the GR2's, didn't get a chance to test them on the mountains because I only had them on the car for 6 days LOL

- went to Tein Flex.

Heaven.

as of right now using coilovers. i also have a Sparco seat and the spring rates are 9/7. don't know what your preference for ride is but i like the harsher stiff ride. only gripe is the fact that my passenger side coil is binding all the time and i can't fix it. other than that i recommend coilovers.

My first set was GAB shocks, super stiff.

THen after they were destroyed it was Tokico Blue. Those sucked.

Now is JIC FLTA2 with 9/8 spring combo. MY like!
