springs?

I had an offer for a set of TeinSprings for the S13 for $125 never used. I ws curious, how good are these, and does anyone here use them that could give me an idea of what to expect if I get them.

Tein for hondas I have experience with and can tell you they are one of the best out there. For a 240, not possitive but I would assume the same quality goes into all of their products...jump on it.

I'm not sure what the advertised drop is on the TEIN springs, but I definitely was not too happy with the springrate.

The problem with the 240 is that as soon as you lower it, you are running out of compression travel up front. The only company that makes anything resembling a short stroke shock for the 240SX is... NO ONE. Well, some crazy JDM companies do, but no one in america makes one off the shelf.

SO... with the TEIN spring, the drop is ok, but the springrate is way too soft, so you end up bottoming out anyway, even with something like KYB AGX set to full stiff.

If you really want to run just springs/shocks, get KYB AGX + Susp Tech springs. Anything else is going to be a compromise.
