sqeeking noise from under

hey guys, as you can see its two o clock in the morning and im still wondering wtf is that noise that is coming from under my hood. i know it has nothing to do with my engine. we'll heres the story, i changed out my stock springs on the two front shocks on my s13 coupe and put in some tien springs. soon after that it started to squeek alittle..dont know what it was but i didnt think it was too bad, i just thought it was my stock shocks going out...then i ordered me a set of kyb gr2 shocks for it to go along with my tien springs. i put the KYB'Z in and it still squeeks..its been like that for about a couple months now...i dont know what it is...it cant be my shocks or any part to do with my suspension becuase i've already changed it...when i have the car on park, and i open my hood, look over my engine and push down on one side over the wheels, i hear the squeek. but its not coming exactly from where the suspensions are. it only squeeks in the front. the rear of the car is fine. can someone help me, this squeeking noise gives me a headache...its a loud squeek too, its not them little ones where you can ignore it..it sucks...someone help please....thanks

Maybe bearings? Jack up the car, grab the wheel and shake it, shouldn't be any play.

did you seat the coils correctly? do they have the rubber isolators around the spring? how are the bushings?

yes the coils are in place at first thats what i thought the problem was but it wasnt. and yea they have rubber insolators around them too. im not sure about the bushings...i havnt even looked. if it is the bushings..how much would you think it would be done for?..dam it seems to be a grip to get it done rite?

for S13 240, yeah i'll jack up the car and shake the wheels. never tried that yet. thanks

It might just be the springs squeeking....in TEIN's product catalog, they sell "anti-Squeek" pieces of rubber to slip in between the part of the spring where the gap is narrow:

It could also be your tension rod bushings. It is sort of a creaking sound, I had this same problem except mine were crushed and everything was messed up... Just fixed them last night, and the only noise they made was when they seated into position.

ALSO.... Make sure all your bushings and such are greased, because wherever polyurethane touches metal, there is bound to be some squeaking

It's obvious lol...

Remove the bolt, retap the hole, and put in a new bolt

Have FUN!....
