Steering Shakes Under Braking
Well i just joined the forum this week and already encountered my first problem. My steering shakes after i brake from high speeds...usually 60mph. I have to gradually ease on the brakes so that the steering wheel dose'nt shake. when i'm driving it don't shake that much. Only when under heavy breaking. What can this be? Tire rod or a Tension rod? fluid need to change? Help me out.

Also, whenever i bought my car the rotors were screwed all the way around. When i would put the car into reverse and back up i would get this intermitten grinding sound from the rear end of the car, when i was in neutral and rolled backwards i would get the same sound, when i was in 1st with the clutch in, and rolled backwards it would happen, i thought the differential was screwed. i had all the rotors changed out to new, and its never happend since. no one ever told me that was it for sure, but common sense tells us that was the problem. one mechanic tried to tell me it was the differential, and he could rebuild it for $1300 HA! HA! HA! yeah right, thats how much the whole car cost, not to mention i could get a kaaz 2-way brand new installed for probably much less. just for ya to think about if that happens to you, because i all my rotors were screwed.

im an auto technician. steering wheel viberating at high speed when aplying the brakes is 100% warped rotors.
it will do it worse at high speed because you create more friction causing more heat on the rotors, what does heat do? well it expands which intern exaggerates the warp on the rotor making you feel the steering wheel viberate from oscillation in the rotors because it is all connected
