Could you guys help me out? I found this LSD and when I e-mailed the company they said it would fit right on. However does anyone know if this is good?

Are u talking about this Phantom grip differential?

If so ,I dunno Im a little skeptic for that brand ,I mean is cheap but sometimes u get for what u pay, though I will consider asking for ppl about them maybe u can get some highs and lows from ppl that have actually bought them before, but the brands mentioned above by Landho is what u should stick for if ur going aftermarket, trust me I know what he is talking about and those brand can offer the best of everything, just my 02. cents -NEO

lsd is great but i think you need to address the old wore out parts first. after all the car is old. things like the bushings. at the very least replace them as you get to them when upgrading a specific part. so if your getting an lsd, get the carrier bushings, might as well get the sub-frame bushings while your at it or collars.

Yes good info.

Replacing bushings will help strenghten the car as a whole.

But LSD is a must if you want to do any competition.

And give your car a nice tune up. She will thank you.

I think another thing that would be a good idea is the do-luck or tanabe rear floor bar. It is a bar that goes across the floor right behind the front seats. From what I've read and hear, it is supposed to be one of the best chassis stiffening bars you can get short of a full rollcage, other than strut bars.

Yeah, they are double the price, but they stiffen up the part of the chassis that is just one big empty space. strut bars tie together the suspension so it doesn't move independently, but the body of the car will still twist. If you've ever ridden in a car with a roll cage, you know how much the body of the car twists. Its amazing, if you accidentally put your fingers between the rollcage and the car, there is a good chance they might break.

Unfortunatly i havn't. Maybe one day soon I will have one though.

For some reason when I'm driving I'm constantly thinking of how wrecks can happen. Maybe I'm paranoid, maybe I'm observant. Who knows. But Before I start any engine mods I think i'm going with this

1. strut bars

2. Buy the 4th rim :P

3. either KYG AGX and Type S's or Koni Yellows. <equal compasison?

4. small roll cage ( I know a guy who does a lot of welding and he thinks it's a good cause, so he's helping me out)
5. LSD

6.engine

Somewhere in there I will be hooking up the audiobahns i have. Unless someone out there wants them. They're 12's and in great condition. send a PM if interested.
