i am getting $1000 for graduation money from my parents. i want/need new coilovers. but i dont know what kind i want to get. i want somethinmg that is not so rough but not to smooth (in the middle). so im in kind of a predicament. i was looking at the tanbe pro s-oc type 2 or the nex ss coilovers (because of the price). if ound the nex coilovers real cheap on ebay brand new ($680 shipped) and i can get the tanabes at evasivemotorsports.com for around $775 shipped.

Never heard of Nex, Tanabe's should be ok, Megans should be fine too. Whats the car going to be used for?

 

they are going on a 1990 240sx hatch and it will be used for daily driving and i am going to start to learn how to drift.

 

i have megans and like them, the tanabes would be good as well, ive never heard of nex though either and prolly wouldnt buy an ebay brand. Ive heard good things about the stance coilovers as well, plus they come with different springs for changing your rates..

the nex's are't an e-bay brand there is just a store on e-bay that sells them. there is another website called http://www.prostreetonline.com/store...ilover_system/ that has them as well.

 

Save up another $200 and get the Stance coilovers, you won't be dissapointed. I got them about a month ago on my s13 and I'm loving the ride.
