Wheel/Tire Combo question.

Wheel/Tire Combo question.
Well since the post i gave last time became an argument (between someone else and a mod. ) and never truly answered my question.
I have spring/shock style suspension up front. And i have a set of 17x7.5" rims w/ +40 offset w/ 225/45-17 tires on them. (Old rim/tire combo from my '03 SpecV. )With that combo will the tires rub or hit the spring perch up front? Just looking for a yes or no answer w/ mayb some helpful info. Not if it will look gay or that i should just buy coilovers. 'Cuz that's ur personal opinion and i've seen plenty of 240's w/ 225's up front that i thought looked just fine and i don't have the money for coilovers right now.
Just looking to see if i need to get new tires for the front so that they won't rub or if they will work as is.
Thanks,
Jay

no they will fit.
It was not an argument, we just read they question differently.
We both had good info.
Which actually answered your question 2 different ways.
Done.
