Wheel and tire question?

Hello, I just bought a set of 5zigen fn01-rc's they are 17x8 with a +35 offset. Am i able to put 245/40/17 tires on them without rolling my fenders? or 245/45/17?
Also what is the best setup for these rims with tires for say like auto x and a few runs at deals gap? i could care less about drag mind you. If someone could help me out with this it would be most appreciated.- Brad

You can get whatever size you like, depends on how low you go. The Falken Azenis are really good tires for the money.

The widest tire you can run in the front is a 225 anymore and lots of rubbing will occur.

As JDMxDrift stated is you can have just about any size in the rear it all depends on how low the car is.

For the rear if your KA i would recommend a 235 depending on the tire type. Due to the fact that a 245 may push more weight than the front tires can take.

Falken Azenis great tire. For the rain the 215 suck, thats why they made the 615.

Good luck with your car.

hey, i just back from vacation and am finnaly able to post. i was thinking 225 in the front was odd due to the front tire is bald and the rear is fine. i was thinking staying with the 235 and going with some 215/45/17's i have laying around on the fronts. Would this be an alright setting to use?- Brad

If rain is an issue i would really recommend getting Nitto Neo~Gens. There particular tread pattern is great for the rain. I'm running with Nitto Neo~Gens 225/45Z/R17's and i like them. I heard alot about the Falken Azenis and the grippiness of those particular tires.

Yea anything passed 225 will rub unless you do some modifications. My 225's rub slightly on the side wall but nothing crazy. HOpe that helps

p.s.anyone knows any tires that last really really long and have horrible grip in the rain or in general?

I would go 225 all around...I have 215 and I like it...but I should have got 225...Do the same so you can rotate tires.
