Question Anyone running water injection?

just wondering if anyone is using water injection in their sr20det? i heard it was a really good idea...it's like running higher octane gas, it makes the charge air more dense, and cleans all the crap out of your engine. if you have WI, what kit are you using? thanks.

the only water injection I've ever seen was on a TT Stealth R/T, and it was pushing close to 980RWHP. it needed it to keep things cool.

spraying onto the intercooler is a fun idea, and helps keep it from getting heat soaked.

just my limited knowledge on the whole thing.

There's some 300zx tt's running 21 psi on stock intercoolers, bigger turbos and not detonating with it. Proper intercooling replaces the need for water injection. With it though you could probably run another 2-3psi safely if your turbo will support it. There is the benefit of it cleaning you intake too. Aquamist is ahead of the game in WI with controlling the charge, but I heard their pumps suck and go out after a year.
