hi, did anyone here change your sr20det drive belts? i am gonna replace my main drive belts on my redtop SR20det. Could anyone tell me does there any USDM drive belts from Nissan dealer can fit it? Also, can i use the information from the S14 sr20det repair manual to set up the timing and the drive belts?

 

I wouldn't recommend using an S14 manual to service any part of an S13 motor, but thats just me. You just never know, ya know?

As for the USDM couterpart, try www.srswap.com and see what they have as a cross-reference. Or call them up and ask Jeff or Yury what is. They should be able to steer you in the right direction.

 

i agree with not using the S14 manual. While the engines are similar, the timing will be different due to the S14's VVT intake gear. If you can't find any info on what belt to use, take the belt off, go down to advance auto, auto zone, or napa (or whatever you happen to have) and have them size the belt for you.
