ECU governor

Is there anyway to remove the speed governor of a stock ECU? Can I get it reformatted so it doesnt kick in? I know I can with an aftermarket ECU but what about a stock?

some advise, you dont need to go that fast. if you hit a bump going that fast you are dead!!! you should definitely do this at a track or on the highway. and if you car has stock brakes and rotors, you wont have any time to stop if someone pulls out on you. you brakes will heat up and you will just keep going. i seen that write up and decided not to do it. you can finish the quater mile before the gov kicks in. thats all you need. anything else is pointless if you value your life. thats my opinion
