Talking found 1 diamond in the ruff need help polishing

ok so i bought a car from a friend and had a ka24e and he blew it and so he put in a DE and couldnt get it to run and sold it to me for 600 bucks with the eibach lowering springs and the injen intake. So i went to a junk yard and got a MAF off a 2.4 stanza and i got it runnin but really Ruff and tends to shut off when i come off the throttle to fast . So anywayThen i Got a Garrett M24 off my friends blown 300zx for 50bucks I think im mechanicaly inclined enough to do the turbo install if I only had some good directions to follow and maybe a list of parts I will need I dont want to leave the internals stock but Im only trying to run like 10lbs so if anyone has some info that they think will help send it this way.
so far I know i need an exaust manf. and intercooler kit but what else like for fuel management but im not sure . Ive got about 2gS left in the "fast car fund" so tell me what you think Thanks in Advance I look forward to posting the results of any advice i get from this forum Thanks again....FLiCK iT HARD FLiCK iT OFTEN

1: make it run properly.
2:check the compression make sure it's really good like around 180 and up. New is 200-210psi
3:as for fuel mods a set of SR injectors for safty reasons & an aftermarket FPR with a FMU would be good OR
what i would do is go to http://www.precisionracingonline.com/megasquirt.html
and order that and get it programmed for your car, it's cheap, it works and it's a stand alone engine managment, what more can you ask for. that is all i can think of at this moment, other people should have more to say

(FPR= fuel pressure regulator. FMU= fuel managment unit)

EDIT: the megasquirt over the FMU, you'll still need the AFPR.

ummm.. how much horsepower are you trying to produce with your ka-t? if you want to run a safe setup without internals and with stock fuel management i wouldn't boost over 6psi.. there's really no need to get a new maf unless you change your injectors.. if you change your injectors, you'll need to change your fuel pump & possibly a larger maf (z32 preferably) i'm not 100% sure if this is all true.. i've been reading up on this as well.. all the information is coming out of my head randomly.. somewhat in order? but there's really no need for upgrades unless you're trying to go big with the horsepower.. check out the website phatka-t.com they have parts for sale there and they also have a somewhat useful forum! ..and i think this post is quite long enough.. and if any of the information i've given you seems off or wrong, by all means, please correct me!

Up for auction is a used mass air sensor from a '92 Nissan Maxima. Nissan part # is 22680-16V00. Externally this is the same as the Z32 but it flows a little less. It still has the 80mm connection and even the same bolt pattern. In fact, the plugs are the same too. This is a HW-4 maf for anyone using a S-AFC. The wiring for your SR/KA/CA is the same as the Z32 as well. Unless you are making 300+whp, this maf will work fine for you. Perfect for those setups using an S14 or S15 T28 turbo. will this MAf work i really only want to push 300hp/ 300ftlbs The wireing harness on the car is 3 prong
