I'm a newb so i have a question. Where can I get a turbo for my 89 ka? I've looked everywhere, so could someone help a newb out?

I dont think they make a turbo "kit" for a SOHC KA. Try contacting Phatka-T.com. They can get all the parts for you. Do a lot of research before buying anything.

All I found some turbo manifolds. Anymore sites? I really want to find a kit but as you said, I don't think they make one.

I have a 90 240 and I have been researching a lot on turbocharging the ka24e. I havent found any kits and most people that have done it make their own. Phatka-t.com has a lot of info in their forumsabout this topic...a lot of the guys who did it used dsm turbos and made their own piping...so it comes down to how much you are willing to spend and how much time you want to take doing it.

haha ya nice one chiroke. But seriously you need to look into everything, and learn more about your car and turboing it. Dont just go to sites and look for parts, go to forums and read up on what guys are doing. I know the mods dont like this but a lotta guys at ********.com are doing turbo work right now, check that out and see if that gives you a better idea of what you wanna do.

You could piece together a turbo kit. I am selling a manifold and downpipe for 500 for the ka24e. I had it up on ebay but no one bid on it so I'm lowering the price. It's a gladman piece that has never been used, so it's brand new. I was going to build up my ka but a friend of mine crashed his car with a sr and I snagged the sr from him. I bought the manifold and downpipe for considerably more than that. Here is a pic. It's an exelent deal.
