no power after warmup... new guy
i currently have an s13 sr20det in my 92 hatchback. the MR downpipe and test pipe as well as the cold winter air is getting my boost up around 9 or 10 psi. after the car is fully warmed up or very warm... but not overheating by any means... my car will run faster in vaccum than boost. would this be a fuel problem? i have walbro 255 pump and z32 filter. is this a fuel issue or perhaps something to do with the knock sensor? its not misfiring at all just feels like im dragging a parachute when i get on it after a while... im thinking fuel so i have the apexi s-afcII on the way... anybody know exactly how much that helps?

Not at all if you're trying to do fuel management. The safc2 is for making final adjustments at specific rpms. You don't wanna use it to try to full tune your fuel map.I don't know too much bout turbos but yes it does sound like maybe you're chokin on fuel. Do you have an AFR guage? If so is it leaning out when it's lagging?

yeah i have an afr but not hooked up yet... i was thinking the same thing... just check how lean it runs. im thinking the reason its boosting fine and pulling hard before its too warm is the choke from the ECU while it gives more fuel for warm-up. i am planning on dyno tuning my car with the safcII for 12 psi. it should provide the neccessary amount of fuel for 12 without new injectors
