Question rev's for an sr20det

Im a noob to the whole nissan thing, i have a a sr20det in my 180, i just need to know how high i can take it without risking engine damage. thanks for the info guys!!!

Stock 7000, with RAS 7500 to MAY BE 8000... depending on if you feel lucky.

Well you can do more than that...stiffer valve springs & titanium retainers will let you rev higher as well...I know on a 4g63 w/ the required hardware it's possible to take it to 10,000(pushing it), 9,000 is no problem if you know what you're doing. I would imagine the sr20det is comparable as they have similar bore&stroke (4g63: bore=85mm stroke=88mm; sr20det: bore=86mm stroke=86mm).

Past 8,000 is dangerous with the hydraulic lifters.
