s14 sr20 question??

s14 sr20 question??

I have a s13 with an s14 sr swap with the following mods

full exhaust

fmic

upgraded clutch

intake filter

walbro 255

I wanna run the car at 12-15 psi?

Can I run a direct port wet 100 shot without damaging the engine?

Also I have a safc 2 and a z32 maf. Are these required for the nitrous? better? necessary?

Are larger injectors needed for the nitrous?

Do I need a tune?

I know I will need colder plugs, which ones in denso irridium, ik20 ik22??

With the new power will I need an upgraded radiator or will it hold?

OK, im gona be nice since i believe your intentions are good..

1. you seriously need injectors, im going to say 12psi max on stock 370cc's, also i HIGHLY recommend getting a metal headgasket

2. FIRST off do not run nitrous on that motor..seriously man you must be on something to think that you are going to run 12-15psi even on stock injectors let alone with a 100shot nitrous too, not to mention without fuel (not like u should be running nitrous on the motor to begin with) You WILL damage the engine and as long as you have that motor then get nitrous as far from out of you head as possible, you have a turbo for christos sake you dont need frickin nitrous..sorry sometimes i get aggitated but seriously you dont mix the too, especially without being fully built and extensively tuned for it..

3. Get larger injectors so that you can run more boost, your stock turbo is good to around 16psi

4. the safc2 is necessary for the Z maf and tuning the car, which you should have done after getting your larger injectors ( i recommend some 550cc unless you are planning like 400hp +)

5. Tune (refer to 4.)

6. I recommend NGK BKR7ES-11

7. Stock radiator will work fine just make sure you have some good fans/working waterpump/thermostat..I would recommend upgrading eventually though since the stock ones are usually pretty corroded..

Ok i hope this helps, feel free to get any other questions out and i atleast wont flame on you, what kind of power goals are you looking for and what is the car going to be used for and maybe i can give you a more narrow perspective of what you need.

thanks man but it seems as if your not a nitrous fan, anyone experience with nitrous before wanna add any info!!

your right, im not a fan of nitrous, but i dont tell people not to use it just because i dont like it. Im telling you for your own benefit, if there is something i know, its sr20's..but definately feel free to collect any other inputs im not trying to stray you from doing what u want, only trying to help ya out. goodluck
