If the det airflow meter is missing from the engine, what can be used as a suitable replacement? ive heard 89-90 ka meter can be used, are there any other possibilities?

The KA's Maf can be used as a substitute for the Redtop and Blacktop S13 SR's. Not sure about the S14/S15 SR's though.

According to turbo Mag... You can use the Z32 airflow meter from a 300zx twin turbo airflow meter.

if you use any other maf you will need a SAFC or a new rom chip.

z32,cobra,or j30 or rb20 or 25. either will work.

or get stand alone and goto a speed /density sensore.

you can use the sohc ka maf and plug. no safc is needed.

Exactly SHIFT.

The SOHC MAF will not need any special tuning. All other MAF's will though.
