I think super charging the KA is a great idea. You should speak with CAMDEN SUPER CHARGERS. They will make a blower for any make or model car. Slap some SR20det injectors in either 440cc, or 550cc, and you will have one bad *** KA. Here is the link to camden, you should start with a reputable company on manufacturing a prototype supercharger. Sounds great I would build one....

You will also need internal work done in order to compete with intercooled turbo's. For the 93 KA I would prefer 1990 pistons, forged with an overbore of .040, increasing the dish size of the piston to 90mm, and increasing the compression of the KA to 10.7:1.
You should read this thread on high rev KA's, thanks to Artic dragon, and wikd240 the thread still continues.

It has been R&D'd through light weight pulley's that you can actually drop up to 10% in the degredation of the belt driven super charger making it a much better competitor to turbo charging. The main design you should focus on your super charger system would be to design a pulley system that uses very little of the belt driven super charger degredation. That will be the key into designing a powerful supercharging unit. That is what should be focused on your auto cad besides a well designed cast mani. The injectors should be directed into the super charger rather than the engine to infuse the fuel to air making it a much cleaner and combustible fuel, that is what you should focus on the auto cad program also.
Also just like turbo charging you will need to design an emanage system that will deliver you the necessary CHP requirements.
I can see super charger potential with a 7" Eaton blower producing more than 400 CHP on a KA if the right modifications are designed.
Just my 2 cent's............
Times and technology are changing to where super charging has just as much potential than turbo charging. Take a glance at Jackson racing super chargers and there emanage systems for honda.
If you can make it 50state EPA approved I will buy one ASAP.
