just bought my first set of rims for my 93 240sx. i have

SPORT MAX Racing 962
18 x 7.5 in the front
18 x 9.5 in the back

now what tire size do u guys recommend for then.
they gave me me these tire size
215/35/18 in the front
225/40/18 in the back

is this good size or bad. bc i havent put them on yet

and what do you mean good or bad? do you have spacers? do you have rolled/over fenders? what are you going to do with the car?

you need to search and learn things yourself and then ask more specific questions.

 

what offsets did you order? likely you can a much wider tire if strut clearance is not an issue. test fit the wheels and see what you've got to play with. Personally I would do 225 front and 245 rear minimum

 

with a 9.5" width wheel i would think he would want AT LEAST 255's in the rear if it were me i would put a smaller wheel in the rear and save weight/rotating interia. you don't need a wheel that big unless you are going 265's or bigger
