Wheel offset issue???

So I went and talked to my friend at the wheel/tire shop and got some info on the wheels that he has access to. I have the ability to get an AMAZING deal on wheels that are the EXACT style that I want. I am looking at probably running a staggered setup with 15x7 fronts and 15x8s on the back. Here is the issue, the both are 3.75" backspace.

Here are the questions though.......

First, those wheels will fit but stick out right?

Second, If I mould them in, do you guys think that a set of universal flares will look better than trying to put overfenders? I highly doubt that I can roll and pull the fenders enough to cover that stickout. I am NOT going for the drifter look so I don't really want to run wide front fenders and rear overfenders.

I checked rimtuck.com and the closest I can find is a car on 17x7 and 17x8s with a -3 offset but he is running H&R 25mm spacers all around with a front 20mm wide fender and a Rolled/Pulled rear and his wheels are tucked pretty well.

Any thoughts?

what are the offsets on the wheels your getting anf what size tire are you putting on them?

i got 17x9.5+20 in the back with 285's and all i needed was a slight pull

17x8.5+12 in the front with 245's and all i did was roll the fender infact i could have gone lower offset in the front

I was told the backspace but not the offset. On the 8" wheels I think the offset is -19 given what I saw scribbled on his notes. I'm looking at something close to 245/50-60/15 or close on the back and a 225/50-60/15 on the front. I havent figured out exactly what tires will be going on the car.

Front offset is -6.4mm
Rear Offset is -9mm

Any thoughts?

It goes with the design of the car. Trust me on this....

Wow, those are some seriously deep dish wheels if they have a negative 19mm (your link says 19, not 9) offset. Am I missing something on the offset here? Never seen a negative number offset before, my wheels are +40 offset, so moving another 60mm (2.5") out away from the rotor seems like a lot.

Also, why go with small 15's?

+40 is pretty high for 240's...
I've seen negative before.

The reason for the 15s is to limit how much I have to adjust the speedometer and more importantly because I am planning on running a large sidewall. I'll post a pic of my rendering in a few minutes.

Yes I know big sidewall is not good for drifting, yes I know it's an unpopular look, and yes I know most people won't like it. The way I put my car together, this is the wheel and tire look I'm interested in.

Ok, but you still didn't answer my question about the super -19mm offset, that wheel in the pic is definitely not a -19mm offset

Mainly because the wheel style I want is only made for mustangs. The 5-lug pattern on the s-chassis is identical to the ford mustang bolt pattern. If I want that style of wheel I'm kind of limited to only mustang style offsets. I'm going to bite the bullet and get the setup and if I can't make it work, it will go on eBay. Some times you have to take a risk to be unique.

considering they are only 7/8 widths I think those offsets would work fine. Not any room for tire but yeah...
can I make a suggestion?
get some 4lug racing wheels-- like diamond brand etc.
