Wiring Problems

I'm having a bad wiring problem. I'm trying to install a new alpine dock that my dad just gave me. In the process i lost my clock in the dash and the ding when the keys are in the ignition and when the headlights are on. And another thing is my automatic seatbelts are messed up. When the driver door is open my seatbelt doesn't work but when the other is opened then it works. Does anybody know how to help me with my problem. Thank you.

well... to start with, how bout a model number on the deck? also, how ghetto did you wire it? are there any UNUSED wires? Did you properly ground the deck? 5 dollars says you didnt. Not that that would change much, but it could. More info on the wiring is necessary. Im not tryin to be a dick, its just in order for ppl to help, they need info. Ill bet your problem is in how the wiring was done.

first check the fuses under the dash on the drivers side, It should be the row closest to the center console near the top of the fuse holder.

the same thing happened to me.

more likely you blew a fuse!

did you just chop off the stock harness and try to splice it with the system harness or did you purchase a vehicle adapter kit?

I checked the fuses today and only one was blown but it wasn't for the radio. And the wiring my friend did, he is good with wiring and he did it right but he had to leave so he left the rest for me to do and i can't figure out wat is wrong it just won't turn on. There is two grounds and one of them is connected to the ground on the radioand then there is one just hanging there. Coming out of the radio there is a blue wire which on the manual said anttena and that is also left hangin. There are two red and black wires comeing out o f the car. One is completly black with a red stipe and that is connected to the constet power on the radio. I belive the red and black is the battery. But the other wire is all red and has a black stripe.
