Question $$$ for swap

alrighty , im gonna go this week to some shops and get some quotes for the famouse auto to 5speed swap.
what should i excpect to here from them saying that i already have all the nessisary(sp?) parts for the swap.
i just wanna know what i should expect to here and what yall think is a fair price

Man, its really hard to give a quote. I would personally charge 800 for labor, and you would either have to supply every part if not i would get them and the price would go much higher.

Its really going to very from place to place. Also dont low ball labor unless you want your tranny falling off while driving. In life you get what you pay for.

if u make it that far then you can finish yourself man, its really not that hard..just read and take your time if you dont really know what your doing

all that wiring at the end would fluck with head and id fluck it all up

and if it is done right do you think that it would preform like a regular 5speed out of the factory

yea if done right then there shouldnt be any probs, plus u have an auto ecu which would be better neways..
