Question Auto - Manual Concern

so... i read the information about converting auto to manual... but for those who have done it, have you had any trouble? timing? engine trouble? i would just like to know from those who have done this in the past... so i know what to expect if/when i convert my car...!

i have done the Auto/Manual swap and the only "problem" that i have is that i have to start my car by turning the key and pusing a button at the same time .

auto to manual swaps are one of those things that, if you get the car to move, you pretty much did it right and dont have to worry about any problems. they get easier and easier every time.
one question though, can I swap S13 manual parts into and S14?? I heard something about putting washers or spacers under the pedals, and redrilling the driveshaft??? whats up with that?
