just a new guy
ayy wutsup yallz, i just joined the club and i am happy to say i have a 240. i got a 93 coupe recently when i sold my h22 civic. its an auto, ehhh. well my question is of course about the tranny. i did a lot of search and i know about the conversion to a manual. i just want to know couple of things about the tranny.
1. whats the difference between the auto and manual KA's? is it just the tranny?
2. if i do the auto to manual conversion, is it the same as having a KA that was manual from the start.
3. if i do the auto to manual conversion can i just get the wiring harness from a manual ka and use it in my 240 so that i wont have to do any rewiring?
4. if i choose to do the auto to manual what tranny should i look for? the same year, newer year?
i was also wondering if i should just get a KA that comes with a manual and swap the whole thing in. if i choose to do this route should i look for the same year or the newer ones. which will be easier.

1)Tranny, clutch, flywheel. ECU also...but those are swapable.
2)pretty much yea, if it was done right
3)There isn't any swapping of harness's, just some very small wiring to wire up the back up lights.
4)Doesn't matter, the lower mileage the better.
